Free the Unicorn, also known as, Nicole Lovince, is an alternative metal pop R&B singer/songwriter. She is in a league all her own! Hailing from New Orleans, the same world-renowned city that produced such talent as Lil Wayne, Luke James, Jason Mitchell, Payton and Eli Manning, Harry Connick Jr, Ellen DeGeneres and countless others. Nicole has been featured in such films as Pitch Perfect and Pawnshop Chronicles. Sharing the big screen with stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine, and Brendan Fraser. Free the Unicorn has performed live in front of a collective audience upwards of 15,000 people. She recently performed at the iconic Whiskey a Go Go in Hollywood, CA. Where such artists as Janis Joplin, Guns N' Roses, and Aerosmith have shared the same stage. At an early age, Nicole performed on major and minor stages via stage plays, festivals, and events in and around Louisiana. Receiving a Cum Laude B.A from Bowling Green State University in Film and Theatre is one of her many accomplishments in the performance field. She has worked with acclaimed film and television directors as Jason Moore, Patrick Ian Polk, and James Whitmore Jr.

Currently, Free The Unicorn calls the sandy beaches along the Los Angeles coast home. She first found her voice during her acting debut in feature film Pitch Perfect. From there, her vocal career began to blossom recording on soundtracks and working with various independent artist. Over the last two years she has been performing and releasing her own original music.
